Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship (SSCS)
The Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship is a state-wide competition sponsored by the General Federation of Women's Clubs in North Carolina (GFWC-NC). The Burlington Woman's Club (BWC) sponsors a competition each fall for high school seniors residing in Alamance County. The winner receives $3000 and the chance to compete at District and State levels for additional money. The scholarship is to be used at any four-year college or university in North Carolina. The Application Form must be filled out completely,
and mailed or delivered as directed in the Instructions, along with all of the items listed.
The completed packet must be RECEIVED by November 1, 2023.
