What We Do
BWC operates a Thrift Shop in downtown Burlington. In addition to providing good quality, affordable clothing and small housewares, the profits are reinvested in the local, state, and global community through scholarships and donations to carefully selected agencies. BWC Meetings

We meet on the fourth Monday, September through November, and January through April at 1:30 pm at the Kernodle Senior Center on Mebane Street.

Our monthly meetings are open to any interested woman. We have a program highlighting the work of one of the local groups we sponsor and a brief business meeting.

Thrift Shop

BWC members operate a thrift shop in historic downtown Burlington NC. All the tasks needed to keep it operating are performed as a "labor of love" for the community. Profits from the shop are reinvested in the community, state, and world.
